Arsenal fans are loving what Mikel Arteta has had to say about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading up to their League Cup tie against Leeds on Tuesday night.
After a season of struggle last time out, Aubameyang’s form has started to take a positive turn and change for the better.
The 32-year-old has scored seven goals in nine games in all competitions for his side this term, including in back-to-back Premier League matches.
He will be hoping to make it three games in a row, where he finds the back of the net for his club side, if he gets minutes against Leeds tonight.
Ahead of that match, Arteta was in awe as to how Aubamemayng has changed his game off the ball and the ‘purpose’ in which he runs with, as he told Arsenal’s official website.
Arteta said: “Do you see the way he runs, the purpose when he’s going to press the ball? I have never seen Auba transmit what he is doing now.”

Arsenal fans have appreciated the tactical insight from their manager, who has had an up and down time during his career in North London.
There have been many occasions when it has looked like Arteta’s time at the club could be coming to an end.
But he has been continually backed by those in the North London boardroom, and at this moment in time, things are looking rosy.
It helps when his £56 million player (BBC Sport) is not only leading by example with the ball, but without the ball also.
