Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has said that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has not been at his best this season.
The former Manchester United defender has noted on Sky Sports Premier League (11pm, May 22, 2023) that Liverpool and Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah’s level has dropped off this season.
Neville made the comments about the 30-year-old while explaining why he did not include the former Chelsea player in his Premier League Team of the Season.
The pundit said about Salah: “When I have watched him this season, I don’t think he has been anywhere near the level of player.”
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah still one of the best
In our opinion, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is still one of the best players in the world.
Yes, Salah has not been at his very best this season, but he has still banged in important goals and remains a key figure for Liverpool.

The 30-year-old has made 36 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Liverpool this season.
Salah has scored 19 goals and given 11 assists in those games.
The Liverpool no. 11 also made seven starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
Salah scored eight goals and provided two assists in those games.
Liverpool will be aiming to win the Premier League title next season, and we believe that Salah will be a key figure in that quest.
