Arsenal’s Bernd Leno has told Fantasy Premier League that Leeds United striker, Patrick Bamford, has been ‘amazing’ and the best striker this season.
The Premier League shot-stopper believes Bamford is a ‘big influence’ on Marcelo Bielsa’s all-action Leeds side.
Harry Kane, who is perhaps regarded as the best player in the top-flight, was the only Englishman to score more league goals than the Leeds man.
And whilst that didn’t earn him an England call, his fellow professional was lauding him and thinks he was a standout star during the recently concluded campaign.
“I have to say, Patrick Bamford,” said Leno. “It’s amazing to see how many goals he scores for a team like Leeds.
“He was amazing coming from the Championship and I think he has a big influence for Leeds United.”

Of course, Leno isn’t going to mention Kane given his Arsenal connections, but there’s no argument to say that Bamford cannot be next in line.
There’s no doubt that he’s unlucky to miss out on Gareth Southgate’s plans for this summer’s Euros.
But from Leeds’ perspective, he returns next season refreshed, ready to go and prove those doubters wrong.
