Alan McInally has said on Sky Sports News (1:39pm, May 23, 2021) that reported Tottenham Hotspur target Graham Potter will leave this summer.
Potter is in charge of Brighton and Hove Albion at the moment and has been linked with the Tottenham managerial role.
According to The Daily Mail, Potter is among the managerial candidates Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is looking at.
Former Aston Villa and Bayern Munich striker McInally, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has said that he has inside information that Potter will not be at Brighton next season.
McInally said about Potter on Sky Sports News (1:39pm, May 23, 2021): “The manager is a huge problem. I have spoken to a few people within football. They generally think he will be involved in one of the bigger jobs for sure because he has done that well at Brighton.”
Potter is not a big name in football management.
However, the work that the 46-year-old has done is remarkable.
The Englishman’s football at Swansea City was very good and eye-pleasing, especially for for a club in the Championship.

Under Potter, Brighton have played in a similar attacking style in the Premier League.
The former Ostersunds FK boss is a very good manager who is ready for the next step in his career.
Blockbuster manager Jose Mourinho did not work out at Spurs.
Would Levy go for another big-name manager?
If the Tottenham chairman does not and wants to go the Mauricio Pochettino route, then bringing Potter to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would not be a bad idea.
