Speaking on the talkSPORT YouTube channel, Simon Jordan has been speaking about West Ham and Daniel Kretinsky’s new investment.
Kretinsky bought into West Ham in November, and he’s now a 27 per cent shareholder in the club.
However, despite a minority investment so far, Jordan believes Kretinsky will eventually buy the remaining shares from David Gold and David Sullivan, claiming the Czech billionaire will become the ultimate owner one day.
What’s Jordan said?
Jordan was answering fan questions and was asked about David Moyes’ future.
In answering that question, Jordan touched on the ownership structure at West Ham.
“What does David Moyes need to do to get a top job? I think that’s slightly diminishing of West Ham, because a lot of people would consider West Ham to be a top job.
“They have new investment with a new co-shareholder with David Sullivan and David Gold, who I have little doubt will end up being the ultimate owner. They have big ambitions,” Jordan said.

Logical next step
This would be a logical next step for West Ham.
Kretinsky is certainly rich enough to buy Gold and Sullivan out, and West Ham fans will be hoping that he’s slightly more ambitious than the Hammers’ long-serving owners.
We quite often see potential new owners buying a minority share before increasing their stake – just look at the 49ers enterprises at Leeds, and this could be a similar story at West Ham.
