
Tottenham Hotspur fans are excited at the prospect of the club looking at Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.
The Sunday Mirror (24/01/21, page 72) claim that Tottenham have been watching Aarons in action.
It is said that Spurs are mulling over making a move for the player dubbed an ‘outstanding’ talent [Pink Un) from his manager, Daniel Farke, in December.
Right-back has been one area of concern for Spurs in recent seasons, even though they have the experienced Serge Aurier on the books and they purchased Matt Doherty over the summer.
Spurs supporters are keen for one of those players to be replaced and they want Aarons to be the guy to come in.
Aarons is your typical modern-day full-back, who has the pace to burn on the flanks and is at his best when he is pushing opposition teams into their own half.
Whether it be in a back four or playing as a wing-back, Aarons is suited to both roles, which suits Tottenham and Mourinho. Not forgetting that he can also operate as a left-back.

If Norwich, who are currently sitting top of the tree in England’s second-tier, earn promotion then Aarons will become more expensive to purchase in the summer.
If not then they can have a seriously good hit on a player who has the qualities to be pushing for an England place in the near future.
