Some Manchester United fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported by numerous outlets that Tottenham are looking to bring Antonio Conte to north London.
Spurs have parted ways with Nuno Espirito Santo, and while it took them months to find a replacement after sacking Jose Mourinho, it seems as though they won’t have the same issues this time around.
Indeed, it seems as though Conte is the man Spurs want, and as you can imagine, Manchester United supporters have had plenty to say about this.
Just last week it looked as though Conte could be headed to Old Trafford, it was reported that he wanted the job and after a 5-0 loss to Liverpool, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job was under immense pressure.
However, it now seems as though Solskjaer’s future is much more secure, and Conte is reportedly ready to take another role.
Understandably, some United fans aren’t best pleased about this, Conte is a world-class coach who is proven at the very highest level, and there’s reason to believe he’d do a much better job than Solskjaer if he was given the reins at Old Trafford and the incredible spending capacity that comes with the job.
