Speaking on The Red Agenda Podcast, James Pearce has been discussing Liverpool and a potential move for Jude Bellingham this summer.
It’s something of an open secret at this point that Liverpool want to sign Bellingham, and according to Pearce, the Reds will indeed go all-in for the England international this summer, but they will face some fierce competition for his signature.
Pearce says that Liverpool will put a number of their eggs in the Bellingham basket at the end of the season.

What’s been said?
Pearce shared what he knows about Bellingham and the Reds.
“I fully expect Liverpool to go all-in and to firm up that interest despite all of the speculation we knew that Bellingham wasn’t going anywhere this summer, but 2023 will be a different story. Klopp is a big admirer of Bellingham but there will be fierce competition for him,” Pearce said.
“In terms of where he would fit in, he would add to Liverpool’s midfield all of the things that are lacking. He’s the complete box-to-box midfielder for me, he does everything.”
Can they get him?
Liverpool are going to do all they can to sign Bellingham this summer, but it remains to be seen whether or not that is enough.
A few months ago, Liverpool looked to be one of the most alluring destinations on the planet for any budding footballer, but their slow start this season has raised questions about whether or not this squad’s race is run and a period of transition is on the horizon.
Luckily for Bellingham, he doesn’t have to rush into a decision this summer, but if Liverpool don’t buck up their ideas and challenge for top honours this term, they may well be out of this race before it even begins.
