Adam Lallana has told talkSPORT that it’s ‘no surprise’ that Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is doing so well at Rangers.

The midfielder shared that he noticed at Liverpool that the Rangers boss had that ‘aura about him’ and how he can ‘change the mood’ of a room by ‘not even saying a word’.

Whatever happens during these coming seasons, Gerrard has written his name into the Ibrox legendary books by stopping the ten.

And Brighton technician, Lallana, who was at Liverpool for six years, shared that he follows Rangers and he is hoping they can continue their success next season.

“Stevie’s has got that aura about him that he kind of walks into a room and he can change the mood without even saying a word,” said Lallana.

“That’s a huge quality, especially going into management, so it’s no surprise that he’s done ever so well since he has been there.

“I follow Rangers because a couple of good pals play for them and even more so now that Stevie’s the manager.

“I think it’s great for them that they won the league this year and hopefully they can kick on next year and have another roll in Europe.”

Whilst the title has been wrapped up by Rangers, they will want to add the cherry on the cake when the final ball is kicked by remaining unbeaten.

Many will point towards that one remaining Old Firm clash in May where Celtic have the chance to have something, albeit small based on what has happened this season, to cheer about.
