Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after Sky Sports reported Harry Kane will be available for this weekend’s game against Manchester City.
Kane is of course coming off the back of a gruelling Euro 2020 campaign and there is still ongoing speculation about his future – ironically, the club he has been linked to most strongly is Manchester City.
However, it now seems as though the striker could play a part for Spurs on the opening day, and as you can imagine, Tottenham fans are buzzing with this news.
Say what you will about Kane’s future, but the reality is that he’s still Spurs’ most important player, and their chances of beating the Premier League champions will drastically increase if he’s on the pitch this weekend.
Of course, whether or not he is selected remains to be seen, but Sky say he will be available, so there’s every chance Nuno picks him.
