Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting after the club announced that both Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford would miss Tuesday’s Carabao Cup game against Fulham.
Leeds have had absolutely no luck with injuries in recent weeks. Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Raphinha have had issues as of late, and now Ayling and Bamford are also suffering with problems.
Leeds are likely to play a rotated side this competition in any case, but Ayling and Bamford being out is still undoubtedly a blow.
The Whites have a rotten record in cup competitions under Marcelo Bielsa, and this update certainly won’t boost their chances of getting a result at Craven Cottage.
