Harry Kane has paid tribute to Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte for transforming the club.
Conte joined Spurs 11 months ago after Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked and the no-nonsense Italian has made an enormous impression in North London.
Despite joining midway through last season, the former Inter Milan boss steered Tottenham back into the Champions League, something that Jose Mourinho failed to do.
This time around, the Lilywhites are third in the Premier League standings and only four points behind top-of-the-table Arsenal.

There’s no doubt that Conte – who earns £385,000 per week at the club [The Mirror] – is a brilliant influence on Tottenham right now.
And Kane, speaking to a press conference before tonight’s Champions League clash away to Eintracht Frankfurt, claims he and his teammates a lot more mature now because of him.
He said: “I think it [Tottenham] has changed a lot. You know, we’ve really tried to change the mentality of the club. We still have room to improve for sure in all departments. Antonio’s a top, top coach. I feel like we’ve worked a lot tactically, physically and really growing into mature players.”
Conte certainly seems to be getting the very best out of Kane, too.
So far this season, the 29-year-old hitman has managed eight goals in nine Premier League outings.
If not for the freakish Erling Haaland, he’d be hoping to win a Golden Boot domestically, but he’s struggling in the Champions League.
Kane is yet to score in any of Spurs’ three European outings this season, something that he’ll be keen to put right tonight – and something Conte will be confident he can do, too.
