The Liverpool boss allowed the right-back to join Bournemouth on loan earlier this month.

Jamie Redknapp suggested that he cannot understand why Jürgen Klopp allowed Nathaniel Clyne to join Bournemouth on loan this month, when speaking during Sky Sports’ broadcast of Super Sunday yesterday.
The 27-year-old left for the Cherries earlier this month, but Klopp’s decision to allow that to happen is now coming under scrutiny, with Trent Alexander-Arnold currently out injured and unavailable for selection for at least another few weeks.
James Milner filled in at right-back against Crystal Palace on Saturday, but he now faces a suspension, having been sent off against the Eagles.
And Redknapp told Sky Sports during yesterday’s broadcast of Super Sunday how he believes that the Liverpool boss has made somewhat of an error in sanctioning Clyne’s exit:

“I can’t understand the decision to let Clyne go out. I know you can play James Milner at right-back and I know he can fill in anywhere. He’s such an important player but it’s makes you wonder why he let Clyne go out at this moment. I don’t quite understand that.”
Liverpool currently sit four points clear at the top of the Premier League table, and they have a great chance of winning their first top flight title since 1990.
And Klopp will be hoping that his team can get by without Clyne over the next few weeks, because if they begin to struggle, the decision to loan out the 27-year-old really will start to be questioned.
