Some Celtic fans on Twitter are not happy at the club’s decision to send Ewan Henderson out on loan.

As announced on Celtic’s official Twitter page, Henderson has joined Dunfermline Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

Dunfermline are aiming to win promotion to the Scottish Premiership via the playoffs, and Henderson will hope to play his role in that quest,

The Scotland Under-21 international attacking midfielder has made only a handful of appearances for the Hoops’ first team.

According to WhoScored, Henderson has made two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership and one substitute appearance in the Europa League for Celtic this season.

The youngster was impressive against Lille in the Europa League and will have been looking to kick on.

However, Neil Lennon, who left his role as the Celtic manager in February, did not make much use of him, and it seems that the club now think that he is better off going out on loan.

Some Celtic fans are not happy at the decision and believe that the youngster should have been given chances to play for the first team in the final weeks of the season, with Rangers having already won the Scottish Premiership title.
