Caoimhin Kelleher told UMM’s YouTube channel that the perception that James Milner is ‘boring’ is incorrect, as he shared that he is ‘one of the funniest’ players at Liverpool.

Such is Milner’s popularity and this ‘boring’ tag that there is even a Twitter account with over 600k followers dedicated to the Liverpool player.

There’s no doubt that, on the field of play, Milner is a pretty serious character and that’s reflective of his off-field work – therefore, it shouldn’t be a surprise that he’s playing for the Premier League champions at, 35.

Nonetheless, Liverpool’s rising goalkeeper, Kelleher, shared what Milner is really like behind the scenes.

On Milner being boring: “Oh no, Jesus, no,” said Kelleher. “He would be one of the funniest. He would be making me laugh and everyone laugh.

“He probably has got one of the best banters in the whole team. He is a funny guy.

“So, I don’t understand where that comes from. Honestly, he’s so funny.”

Whilst Milner is perceived as ‘boring’, his teammates have been playing an enthralling, rock and roll style football during these past few years, which has landed them the title of English league champions and European champions.

But that hasn’t been evident during these past few weeks, as Liverpool look lost and powerless in the final third.

Injury after injury has derailed the balance of the side, and it is now playing its toll on the team, as they could fall ten points behind leaders Manchester City on Sunday if they fall to another defeat.
