Paul Merson believes that Harry Kane will struggle for Tottenham Hotspur in their visit of Liverpool on Sunday.
Liverpool head to North London in what could be the pick of the Premier League games this weekend.
The Reds have lost their last two domestic encounters and Tottenham will be hoping to continue improving, after their last-gasp victory away to Bournemouth last weekend.
Kane has netted a very decent 11 goals across all competitions this season [Transfermarkt] but the 29-year-old has been struggling in recent outings.

And Merson, speaking to Sportskeeda, is tipping the Tottenham hitman to struggle again against Liverpool, arguing that Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski’s absence are bound to affect the England international.
He said: “With Son, Kulusevski, and Richarlison injured, Harry Kane will be isolated up front. I’ve watched Tottenham a lot this season, and I don’t think Kane can do it on his own.”
In fairness to Merson, he’s long enough in this game to not write off someone like Kane.
With or without Richarlison or Kulusevski, the Lilywhites superstar is always capable of scoring from absolutely nothing and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp certainly won’t be dismissing him as a threat.
The likes of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate – if he starts – will definitely have to be on their toes.
