Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Michail Antonio has been talking about Jarrod Bowen after he went down with an injury against Liverpool.

The winger went down against the Reds, and sadly, it looked pretty nasty for Bowen.

Right now, we don’t know how long the former Hull City man will be out for, but based on what the team has said, Antonio isn’t led to believe that Bowen will be out for a sustained period.

What’s been said?

Antonio was asked how long Bowen will be out for.

“To be fair, I’ve not spoken to him. We had a day off yesterday and we were in today, but he wasn’t there. I don’t think he’ll be out for a long time if any time at all. I need to speak to him to find out what it is and what he’s done, but going off what the team has said, I don’t think it will be a long time,” Antonio.

Boost

Antonio doesn’t think that Bowen will be out for too long, and West Ham fans will absolutely love to hear this.

The winger is undoubtedly one of the Hammers’ most important players these days, and the sooner he’s back the better.

Let’s not forget that there’s also an international break around the corner and Bowen has never been better positioned to earn his first England call-up after a scintillating run of form for West Ham.

Fingers crossed the attacker is back in action sooner rather than later.
