West Ham midfielder, Declan Rice, has shared that Tottenham’s Harry Kane has apologised for leaving him hanging during England’s win against Albania on Sunday, as he told his pre-match press conference.
When Tottenham’s thriving star opened the scoring over the weekend, Rice went to high-five the England captain, only to be totally ignored, by not just Kane, but several of his teammates around him.
And, as a result, it’s another viral clip doing the rounds from Rice’s perspective, that doesn’t look good for him, just like that small clip of Mason Mount scaring the living daylights out of him whilst he sleeps.
Nonetheless, Rice shared his take on the matter and how Kane didn’t realise what had actually happened.
“It was funny because when we was on the plane about to leave Albania,” said Rice. “Harry Kane, I don’t think he realised what had happened.
“He has seen the video and he called me and said ‘Dec, sorry mate’. I turned around to him and had a bit of a laugh with him.
“As I turned to the boss (Southgate) before we started (the presser), I have been turned into a meme again.
“I obviously had the one with Mason scaring me, and now I have been left hanging, so I need to improve on that front.”

Well, Kane will be hoping to get on the scoresheet again tonight, but this time against Poland.
Many were looking forward to Robert Lewandowski locking horns with another great number nine in Kane, but injury has ruled him out.
Still, it will be interesting to see how the England players celebrate if they score today because it wouldn’t be a surprise if something is pre-planned.
