West Ham United played out a drab 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Thursday night having secured safety at the weekend.

While the match represented a good result for West Ham, David Moyes’ approach to the game was questioned by some supporters who felt he should have been more positive given the hosts had nothing to lose.
The Hammers were already safe having beaten Leicester City 2-0 at the weekend.
But that does not mask what has been another torrid season for the Hammers on and off the pitch.
Consecutive relegation battles is a million miles from the vision sold to supporters on leaving their beloved Boleyn Ground for the London Stadium in 2016.
Fans want a change of ownership but are demanding big changes if David Sullivan, David Gold and their vice-chairman Karren Brady are to remain.

And speaking on Sky Sports’ The Debate Paul Merson told the owners they have a big task on their hands to turn things around.
“I don’t know what it is with West Ham, I just don’t know what their aim is,” a visibly frustrated Merson told The Debate.
“I just don’t know what it is… if I was a season ticket holder at West Ham I’d be buying my season ticket thinking ‘What for?’.
“There’s a lot to be done there, again, you’d be waiting to see what happens if you’re going to buy a season ticket.

“They are great fans, they’re phenomenal, they’ve stuck by them all the time but they (the fans) can’t keep on giving money (to the club) for the sake of giving money.
“Something needs to change. They’ve got a good manager. Where do you want to go? I would stay with the manager he’s been in there a while now, he knows the club, he knows how it works and just say to him next week ‘Right bang this is how much you’ve got go and find (players) because he can find diamonds, he found them at Everton and he made a good team there.
“For me, West Ham have got no identification at all.”
