Heung-Min Son told Football Focus on BBC One that he ‘doesn’t have to do too much’ whilst his Tottenham teammate Harry Kane does ‘almost everything’.

Last week, both Kane and Son combined once again (14th time) for Tottenham as they broke Chris Sutton and Alan Shearer’s long-standing Premier League record.

With 11 Premier League games to go, including today’s North London derby, that record might just get closer to the 20 mark.

Son described his relationship with Tottenham’s near-on complete machine, Kane, as ‘very special’ and shared that it’s the Englishman who does the bulk of the work.

Of course, he was doing himself a disservice because he has been remarkable for Spurs.

“I think from my point of view, it’s very special (Son and Kane’s relationship),” said Son.

“For me, I don’t have to do too much because Harry’s doing almost everything.

“Things have been really special even off the pitch. He’s just a fantastic guy. (He is) being so positive and working so hard.

“I think I am a really happy guy to play with him, so I mean after 20 years I can say ‘I played with Harry Kane’, with proudness.”

Both Kane and Son got on the scoresheet the last time Tottenham clashed with Arsenal, and more of the same would be welcome from one side of North London.

Son is making a habit of scoring against the Gunners and the £22 million speedster (Mirror) can make it three in three if he finds the back of the net today.

Whilst Spurs fans are eager to secure those Champions League places, and a win today will help, they are well aware that they have to win the bragging rights in a few hours time.
