Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has told the club’s official website that he is raring to go again, as the restart of the season edges closer.
Sissoko has not featured for Tottenham since January, and his absence has been a big blow.
Spurs have struggled without his energy and presence in midfield.
But Sissoko has confirmed that he is now ready to feature for Tottenham again, ahead of the Premier League’s return.
“I was ready to come back in March but the virus came so I had to stay out of training like everyone, but at the same time it was good because I had more time to recover and to work even more to be fit,” he said.
“Now, since we’ve come back, I’m feeling very well, I don’t have any pain so I’m ready to go again, to compete and play games.

“You realise when you are playing and training that you are lucky, because you can do what you like the most in your life. When you’re out, it’s difficult to see people training, to see people playing games and you want to be part of it, but you can’t.”
Without Sissoko Tottenham’s form prior to the suspension in play was poor.
With Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son also sidelined with injuries, Jose Mourinho’s side clearly struggled to cope.
Spurs should be much stronger rafter the restart though, as Mourinho appears to have a fully fit squad to choose from.
Tottenham restart with a match against Manchester United, and if they can collect the three points, it will seriously boost their chances of catching the top four.
