Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to claims that their transfer business is ‘all but done’ for the summer.

The Birmingham Mail suggested that those close to the club feel the business has been concluded ‘unless a shock arises’.

Villa sold star man Jack Grealish to Manchester City and brought in the likes of Emiliano Buendia, Leon Bailey, Danny Ings, Axel Tuanzebe and Ashley Young.

There are some suggestions from the Villa faithful that they need more defensive bite and some presence in the middle of the park.

But there is some worry that the midfield players aren’t strong enough to play, for arguments sake, in a two-man midfield, whoever is picked.
