Ben Foster has claimed that Tottenham’s new away shirt is ‘one of the nicest shirts I have ever bought in my life’, as he told his own YouTube channel.
The Watford goalkeeper was wearing the Tottenham shirt during one of his YouTube videos ahead of the new Premier League season.
Supporters across the country will be preparing and providing finishing touches to their Fantasy Football teams ahead of the opening game between Arsenal and Brentford on Friday night.
And whilst Foster shared which Premier League players he had in his fantasy team, he also explained why he was wearing the Spurs away shirt and made it clear that he ‘doesn’t care’ about putting it on even if the shirt got ‘grief’ for how it looks.
“Can we have a look at this shirt,” said Foster. “I am wearing this Tottenham shirt because I have got to say I think it may be one of the nicest shirts I ever bought in my life.
“Look at this bad boy. I know this shirt got a lot of grief and a lot of abuse at the start of the season when it was announced.
“I am with you Spurs, it’s world-class. Look at it, it’s belting. I don’t care, I am wearing it. It’s world-class.”

It’s not going to be too long before Watford and Spurs are locking horns in the Premier League next season.
The duo are set to clash at the end of August in North London and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Foster is swapping jerseys with his opposition number, Hugo Lloris, at the end of the game.
But before then, Spurs have the small task of facing the champions Manchester City on the opening weekend.
Whilst Watford begin life back in the big time against Dean Smith’s newly-changed Aston Villa side.
