Former Arsenal hitman Kevin Campbell has made his feelings for Jose Mourinho perfectly clear ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Emirates Stadium plays host on Sunday as Spurs visit Mikel Arteta’s side in another North London derby.

In true Mourinho fashion, the Tottenham boss took a subtle swipe at Arsenal by revealing in a press conference that he ‘doesn’t look down’ in reference to the Gunners being below their local rivals in the Premier League table.

The Portuguese manager has taken quite a lot of swipes at Arsenal down the years, stretching back to Arsene Wenger’s time in charge.

When Mourinho joined Spurs, there was talk of Unai Emery leaving the Emirates.

But Campbell has claimed that he never wanted his old side to make a move for the two-time Champions League winner, whom he clearly has very little time for.

He told The Highbury Squad podcast on YouTube: “He’s been very derogatory toward our football club. I didn’t want him in as manager. I don’t listen to him. I don’t read anything he says. People have to tell me what he says because I’m not interested in that guy at all.”

Neither North London club is having a great domestic season.

Arsenal are 10th in the Premier League table and seven points behind seventh-placed Tottenham, who have both played 27 matches.

But Mourinho’s side are certainly the form horses going into this one and Arteta’s troops will definitely need to play very well.
