Jamie O’Hara has said on Twitter that he has changed his mind about Ibrox club Rangers and their bitter rivals Celtic.

The Sky Sports and talkSPORT pundit has said that after watching Steven Gerrard’s success with Rangers this season, he has understood how big Celtic and the Gers are, admitting that he had not previously realised their size and the huge fanbase they have.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has also said that Brendan Rodgers took the Celtic managerial role after his departure from Liverpool and would not have gone to Crystal Palace.

O’Hara made the aforementioned comments about Rangers and Celtic amid speculation that Eddie Howe will become the new manager of the Hoops.

According to The Scottish Sun, the Englishman will become the new manager of Celtic and has agreed a deal in principle with the Hoops.

Howe was superb as the manager of Bournemouth, and he will be expected to reclaim the Scottish Premiership title from Rangers.

Under Liverpool legend Gerrard this season, Rangers have won the Scottish Premiership title, ending the Bhoys’ dream of making it 10 in a row.
