Gareth Bale has admitted that Tottenham’s new stadium ‘blew me away’ when he first saw it, as he told the club’s official Twitch channel.
The Real Madrid loanee shared that he ‘didn’t expect it to be that good’, as he is now hopeful of seeing some Tottenham fans at the stadium very soon.
In recent weeks, Bale is starting to make a name for himself at Tottenham’s new big-money stadium, with Jose Mourinho’s men scoring eight goals during their last two home matches, including four from the speedster himself.
Nonetheless, he was asked to share his thoughts on Tottenham’s new stadium.
“I played at White Hart Lane, so to see on the same side the transformation was incredible,” said Bale. “The stadium just kind of blew me away.
“I didn’t expect it to be that good. I love playing there. Of course, I wish it was full of fans, which is something we all miss.
“But the stadium itself is incredible.”

Daniel Levy didn’t go down this near-billion dollar project to be sitting outside of the top-four places.
Tottenham crave trophies and Champions League football, and at this moment in time, it’s a debate if either will happen.
They are 90 minutes away from lifting the League Cup but playing with the elite is what has to be achieved if Spurs want to compete financially also.
