The Daily Mirror have claimed that Everton are keen on adding either Dele Alli or Winks to their ranks in January, with Carl Ancelotti a fan.
But with the delayed Euros looming and Winks’ game time not where he wants it to be, this recent performance was crucial for him.
Spurs fans were delighted with what he showed in the middle of the park, as some felt that he had his best game in a long while.
This is all good news for Jose Mourinho because it simply adds more depth to his squad and creates some competition which is always a good thing.
