Moussa Sissoko was stunned by Heung Min Son’s 30-yard wondergoal in Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-0 North London derby victory over Arsenal, telling the club’s website that he ‘couldn’t believe it’ when the ball flew into the top corner.

Two weeks after scoring with both of their shots on target in a 2-0 victory over Manchester City, Jose Mourinho’s side repeated the trick as bitter rivals Arsenal came to town on Sunday.
In fact, Spurs were comparatively profligate during a game which might just have plunged them into Premier League title contention.
It took three shots on target for Tottenham to hit the net twice as they deepened Mikel Arteta’s woes during a classic Mourinho performance; one that transported all of us back to 2005.
Harry Kane became the all-time top scorer in North London derbies with a razor-sharp second just before half-time. But it was Son’s opener that will dominate the headlines.
The South Korean cut inside and bent a sublime shot into the corner almost from the banks of the River Lee, setting Spurs on their way to victory in stunning style.
“From where I was, I couldn’t believe it because it was an amazing goal,” explained Sissoko, who delivered another tireless performance in midfield alongside Man of the Match Pierre Emile Hojbjerg.
“But we know the quality of Sonny, he’s showed it many times. I’m very happy for him, it was an amazing goal.”
Mourinho might insist that Spurs are merely a ‘little horse’ in the title race but, as long as Son and Kane continue to combine to devastating effect, we may instead have a pedigree stallion on our hands.
“(Kane) is one of the best strikers in the world and to play with him is a big privilege,” Sissoko added of his captain.
“You know every game he’s going to get a chance or make an assist. He had a good ball from Sonny and, yeah, an amazing goal as well.”
