David Moyes has said that there are no guarantees that West Ham will make more signings this transfer window.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, the Hammers boss believes that the club are hopeful of bringing in more additions this summer. However, this is not a guarantee with 21 days of the window left to conduct business.
West Ham have signed just one player this transfer window in the form of PSG goalkeeper Alphonse Areola. Craig Dawson has also joined on a permanent deal from Watford, but incoming players stop at the 31-year-old centre-back.
The Irons are in talks to sign AFC Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic. But the main target that is needed for West Ham is a striker.
And according to Moyes, there are no guarantees that West Ham will be able to sign competition for Michail Antonio in the transfer market.
The former Manchester United manager said: “We always want competition and I am always looking to see what options there are.

“I am hoping by the end of the window we might have some more additions but I can’t guarantee anything. There is a long way to go in the window yet.”
West Ham have got to make crucial transfer this window
Indeed, with West Ham competing in the UEFA Europa League group stages, adding squad depth in the transfer window will be crucial if the east London side are to go far in the tournament as well as compete in the Premier League.

And whilst some positions are more stacked than others, the striker area is barebones even with Antonio thriving in pre-season.
The Irons will need more than just the 31-year-old striker. And Moyes risks throwing a historic West Ham season away if the club are unable to sign competition for Antonio this transfer window.
