Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media are feeling rather embarrassed after seeing Joe Hart doing punditry for BT Sport on the Manchester City vs PSG game.
The fact that Hart was on TV speaking so highly about a team that beat Spurs just a few days ago in a cup final was rather embarrassing, and it seems to have rubbed Spurs fans up the wrong way.
Current players doing punditry is nothing new. After all, Troy Deeney is on talkSPORT on almost a daily basis these days, while Andros Townsend does a bit of punditry for a number of media outlets.
However, there’s a way of going about it without seemingly making a bit of a mockery of your current employers, and unfortunately, Hart hasn’t been able to tread that line.
To be fair to Hart, his punditry was quite good, he made some solid points and he spoke well, but the reality is that you’re going to annoy people if you’re waxing-lyrical about a team that beat you in a cup final just a few days prior.
