Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Ryan Sessegnon revealed Jose Mourinho sends him encouraging text messages.
The 16-cap England Under-21 international is currently spending a season on loan at Hoffenheim, where he has impressed.
As quoted by Sky Sports, the former Fulham starlet said: “He [Mourinho] will contact me. For example, when I scored he text me saying ‘Good goal. Carry on’. Little messages like that, motivational.”
It’s good to hear that Mourinho is staying in close contact with the 20-year-old, as Sessegnon seems to be a real gem.
Tottenham showed a lot of faith in the youngster by spending £25 million on him as a 19-year-old.

There were flashes of his promise, notably after he scored against Bayern Munich and Manuel Neuer inside the Allianz Arena.
However, his development at Tottenham stalled after the man who signed him – Mauricio Pochettino – departed and Mourinho arrived with his own ideas.
At least, as aforesaid, Sessegnon is doing well in Germany.

The versatile left-sided prospect won Hoffenheim’s Player of the Month award for November.
Sessegnon scored in Hoffenheim’s 3-3 draw against Stuttgart, while he also grabbed the assist for their only goal in a 1-1 draw against Mainz 05.
Let’s see how the Tottenham fans reacted to Mourinho’s text messages…
