Speaking on The Overlap, Gary Neville has been discussing Arsenal’s incredible form this season and Mikel Arteta.
The Spaniard has completely turned Arsenal’s fortunes around this term, taking them from pretenders to contenders. After bottling a top four finish last season, the Gunners now look like genuine title challengers.
Arsenal’s transformation has taken the footballing world by surprise, and nobody is more shocked than Neville.
The Sky pundit says that he can’t believe what Arteta has done with Arsenal this term, but he still resisted the temptation to name the north London club as title favourites.

Neville hails Arteta
The pundit spoke highly of Arteta.
“I can’t believe what he’s done this season. It’s unbelievable. It doesn’t mean that I don’t think City will win the league, but the fact we’re talking about Arsenal is a miracle from where we were at the end of last season,” Neville said.
Manager of the Season
Regardless of what happens between now and the end of the season, Arteta has to be considered as the Manager of the Year in the Premier League.
The Spaniard has taken a group of young players who were largely unfancied before the start of the campaign and has instilled a new confidence in this team and has got them playing some beautiful football.
Of course, there’s still a long way to go, but if Arsenal continue on this sort of trajectory, they will be in and around the title picture come the end of the season.
Arteta’s managerial performance this season has been a sight to behold, and he deserves all of the praise that is coming his way at the moment.
