Stephen Warnock has taken to Twitter to give his reaction following Liverpool’s defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford this evening.

Liverpool have suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of United away from home in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The loss has made some fans on Twitter worried, as the team are six points off the pace in the Premier League title race, struggling to put together a run of positive results, and conceding far too many goals than they should.

Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are long-term injury absentees, while Joep Matip has also been missing, with Fabinho and even Jordan Henderson playing in defence.

There have been criticisms from some fans on Twitter for Liverpool owners, the Fenway Sports Group (FSG), for not signing a centre-back in the January transfer window.

Former Liverpool defender Warnock, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has defended FSG, and cannot believe that some fans are calling for them to leave.

Warnock has pointed out on Twitter how FSG have backed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, as shown below.
