Well, today wasn’t Mohamed Salah’s finest game in a Liverpool shirt.
The Egypt international played 90 minutes this afternoon as Jurgen Klopp’s side suffered a horrendous 3-0 defeat away to Brighton & Hove Albion.
But Salah and his Liverpool teammates weren’t up for it one bit.
Not only was it a dreadful defeat, but the performance as a whole was truly awful from the Reds.
And Jay Bothroyd has claimed on Twitter that Salah has been a different player since Sadio Mane left Merseyside for Bayern Munich.
He wrote on Twitter:

Contrary to Bothroyd’s suggestion, Salah did touch the ball.
According to WhoScored, though, the Liverpool winger, a £36.9 million signing in 2017 [Guardian], only managed 39 touches of the ball – 13 more than Cody Gakpo.
The January signing did seem to struggle up front alongside Salah and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a makeshift front three from Klopp.
But with Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino sidelined with injury, the German had to cobble together a forward line and hope it worked, which it evidently didn’t.
