‘People said he’s too quiet’: Some Arsenal fans react to footage of ‘more vocal’ £20m player

Arsenal fans have loved how vocal and commanding Bernd Leno was during his side’s win at Leicester on Sunday.

The club’s official Twitter account shared footage of the German keeper leading his troops from between his sticks.

After going behind through an early goal, Arsenal fought back to score three of their own and secure a valuable three points.

Leno, who has been one of Arsenal’s consistent performers under both Unai Emery and now Mikel Arteta, is one of the first names on the teamsheet.

A number of Arsenal fans pointed out how the perception is that the £20 million player (BBC Sport) isn’t loud enough but the footage from the Leicester game states otherwise.

Well, that leadership quality will be needed during these coming weeks as Arsenal enter yet another important period of their season.

Crucial Premier League games, including the North London derby, and those two all-important Europa League knockout matches await those from the capital.

If Arteta and Co. fall short during these forthcoming matches then the pressure will seriously mount on the ex-Man City coach.

But if they can do the business then this seemingly disastrous season might have some much-needed light at the end of the tunnel.
