Stuart Pearce told talkSPORT that he can see Harry Kane moving from Tottenham to Manchester City for ‘£100 million’.

The West Ham backroom member thinks the rumoured players, who could go the other way, would ‘benefit’ whoever takes charge of Tottenham next.

Tottenham don’t have a new manager, as of yet, but Fabrizio Romano recently claimed on Twitter that £100 million, plus some Man City players (the likes of Sterling, Jesus and Laporte) have been put on the table for those in North London.

And Pearce thinks, the players that have been mentioned as potential ‘makeweights’ for the Harry Kane deal to be pushed through, are ‘very good’.

“£100million for Harry, I can see it,” said Pearce. “His goals-per-game record is quite incredible,” the West Ham first-team coach said.

“The only thing that would be a concern for me, now I don’t know whether it’s speculation or names that have come out of Manchester City.

“But to suggest that three players, who I think are three very good players, might be makeweights going in the other direction.

“If you’re coming in as manager to Tottenham the players coming in the opposite direction would be of more value than the money. All three would certainly be of great benefit to Tottenham.”

On paper, this is something that would be pretty hard to turn down from Tottenham’s perspective because every single one of them players would elevate Spurs.

But when Kane has produced a season where he was top-scorer and assist-maker then he is proving that he is two players in one.

Plus, losing Kane would have a huge mental effect on those in North London and it would be a lot tougher for them to recover from compared to when Gareth Bale left.

But, of course, whilst all of this can be talked about, the players themselves are going to want to move, and given Tottenham’s situation, it would be a surprise if any of them would be willing to do so.
