Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting after seeing reports that Carlo Ancelotti has personally called Richarlison to discuss a potential move to Real Madrid.
It’s no secret that Ancelotti is a big fan of the Brazilian. After all, he was one of his key players during his tenure as Everton boss, and now it seems as though he wants to bring him to the Spanish capital.
As you can imagine, Everton fans had plenty to say about this rumour, and their reactions ranged from outrage to worry.
Some fans brought up an interesting point about tapping up players, and it has to be said that this doesn’t seem to be wholly ethical.
However, in this day and age, rules around tapping up seem to have gone out of the window, you so often hear about players agreeing personal terms before a transfer fee is even discussed, so it seems as though Ancelotti’s approach for the Brazilian is nothing out of the ordinary.
