Newcastle United transfer target Adrien Rabiot admits he has more to give than what the midfielder has shown since joining Juventus in 2019, via quotes by TuttoMercatoWEB.
Rabiot moved to Turin two summers ago after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract in France. But the 26-year-old has struggled to demonstrate consistent form with the Bianconeri, even though he holds a key role in the Allianz Stadium engine room.
Massimiliano Allegri has put great faith behind Rabiot since the Italian returned to replace Andrea Pirlo in charge this summer. He has started the Frenchman in 10 of the Old Lady’s 16 Serie A fixtures so far this season, plus three of five Champions League group stage ties.

Rabiot has made an additional three outings from the bench, yet remains without a goal and has provided one assist. His efforts are often void of impact, with a tendency to drift through games than chase spaces to exploit or avenues in behind opposition defences.
Juventus could now sell Rabiot in the January transfer window with Newcastle keen on a deal. TuttoJuve report the Serie A side may put him on the market for €30m (£25.5m).
Rabiot accepts he has more to offer than what he has so far at Juventus, and feels more is achievable. He will look to start his brighter future against Malmo on Wednesday night.
“I think so,” Rabiot said. “I’m still young, I can still improve, I have to find a way to do it. I have skills that I can still demonstrate, I can give more and I’m working to do it.”

Rabiot hints at what Juventus midfielder can offer with Newcastle transfer
Rabiot also noted he feels his best performances come from the centre of the midfield, as Allegri has often used the Newcastle transfer target out wide in Juventus’ games this term.
“I’m a central midfielder, but I adapt,” he added. “I prefer to play centrally but I can play, to help the team, even on the wing. I have to find the goal and make assists: it will be good for me and for the team, I have to do something more in this sense.”
Allegri has mostly used Rabiot on the left-hand side of Juventus’ midfield so far this season. But the Newcastle target has made his last four Serie A outings in the heart of their unit.
His willingness to work anywhere in the Juventus engine room hints at what Rabiot could offer Newcastle with a transfer. But he may yet try to stay and fight for a role under Allegri.
