Reported Arsenal target Yves Bissouma has revealed that he could and intends to get quite a lot better in the very near future.

The 24-year-old is enjoying a brilliant season with Brighton in the Premier League.

In fact, he has been so good that Arsenal have reportedly started taking a major interest in regards to a summer move.

According to The Express, the Gunners have already touched base with the Ivorian midfielder’s agent - and Football London claimed earlier this year that the player himself had his heart set on the move.

Bissouma is still a relative newcomer to English football and only has 77 Premier League appearances under his belt for the Seagulls, but the man himself has suggested there’s a lot more to come from him.

He said to The Brighton & Hove Independent: “I have much more to learn and know I can be much better.”

“You make one mistake and you can be punished and lose a game. But I now know what the coach and the team wants me to do. As a result, I feel better than last season.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Arsenal do really make a summer move.

But with Granit Xhaka impressing Mikel Arteta, and Thomas Partey only joining in a £45 million summer deal in October, there may not be much room for the Albion powerhouse, even if he wants the move himself.
