
Arsenal announced on Thursday that Martin Odegaard had been crowned their Player of the Month for March.
It was a brilliant month for the Real Madrid loanee.
First, Odegaard opened his account for Arsenal with a 25-yard thunderbolt against Olympiacos in the Europa League, before then scoring his first Premier League goal.
The 22-year-old playmaker was on hand to cancel out Erik Lamela’s opener in the North London derby win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium, and a week later posted a mesmeric display in helping Mikel Arteta’s side come from three goals down to draw with West Ham United.
That performance against the Hammers really whet the appetite of Arsenal fans and many of them are desperate to see him stay at the Emirates:

It has been reported that both Arsenal and Odegaard are keen on this loan becoming permanent during the summer.
But with a reported £50 million asking price by Real, the best Edu and Arteta may be able to do is secure another loan, this time for the 2021-22 campaign.
