Some Wolves fans on social media have been reacting after hearing Jorge Mendes has offered Nuno Espirito Santo’s services to Tottenham Hotspur.
Nuno has done a fantastic job at Wolves ever since taking over in 2017, so it’s no surprise to hear that he could be in line for a bigger job.
Interestingly, this report has sparked something of a mixed reaction from the Wolves fanbase.
Understandably, some Wolves fans were hoping that Nuno wouldn’t leave, but there were some who seemingly weren’t all that fussed by the idea of him swapping Molineux for north London.
Others seemingly didn’t believe that Spurs would want Nuno after such an underwhelming season, claiming that either Erik Ten Hag or Brendan Rodgers will get the job.
One fan made a very interesting point about Matt Doherty perhaps returning to his best form if Nuno came into Spurs.
Whether or not Nuno is appointed at Tottenham remains to be seen.
