Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are excited by the prospect of signing Florian Neuhaus during the summer transfer window.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder for a few months now.
But Bild journalist Christian Falk, speaking to his Bayern Insider podcast, revealed on Friday that the 24-year-old wanted to join Jurgen Klopp’s side during the summer.
The Reds are in the market for a new midfielder due to the fact that Georginio Wijnaldum looks set to leave Anfield on a free transfer in a couple of months.
And it looks like Neuhaus might be a genuine option to replace the Dutchman because if rumours are believed, both Liverpool and the Germany international want a deal done – and so do some supporters of the reigning Premier League champions.
