Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano has shared what he knows about Raphinha and his future at Leeds United amid links to Bayern Munich.
It was reported by some questionable sources over Christmas that Raphinha had agreed a deal to join Bayern Munich in January, but according to Romano, that isn’t the truth.
The journalist did say that Bayern are having a look at the winger, but he says that nothing has been agreed yet.
What’s been said about Raphinha?
Romano shared what he knows about Leeds’ star man.
“We had rumours during the Christmas period about an imminent move to Bayern. Someone in Brazil reported that it was a done deal with Bayern, but from what I am told, nothing has been agreed yet between Leeds and Bayern. It’s true that Bayern, as well as many other clubs, including Liverpool last year, are looking at Raphinha. We’re speaking about one of the best wingers in Europe, but as of now, nothing has been agreed yet,” Romano said.

Matter of time
Sadly for Leeds, it seems as though it’s just a matter of time before Raphinha moves onto pastures new.
As Romano says, this is one of the best wingers in Europe, and with all due respect to the Yorkshire club, they can’t match the ambition of a player like this.
Raphinha is a player capable of playing at the top level and competing for major silverware, and Leeds don’t look like doing that anytime soon.
It may not be in January, but it does seem as though a major move is on the horizon for Raphinha.
