Speaking to West Ham’s official website, new signing Nikola Vlasic has been speaking about some of his new teammates.
The Croatian was full of praise for Michail Antonio, but he says that two players he’s very similar to are Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.
Indeed, Vlasic says that the Czech pair’s incredible professionalism and impeccable work ethic is something he shares.
What’s been said?
Vlasic was speaking about Soucek and Coufal.
“I have heard a lot about professional Tomáš and Vlad are and how they have this mentality that they are always working hard and I like that because I am the same player,” Vlasic said.
“I want to work as hard as possible every day and I’m really professional.”
Vlasic then went on to speak about Declan Rice.
“About Declan, he’s West Ham captain and he’s only 22 and he’s in the starting XI in the national team, so I think you don’t need to say too much about him. Everybody knows his quality and how good he is.
“Hopefully [like them] I can also be in the history books of West Ham and I hope I will put even deeper things in history, so I’m really, really excited.”

Perfect for West Ham
It sounds as though Vlasic could be perfect for West Ham and David Moyes.
Think about it, Soucek and Coufal have been two of the Hammers’ best performers since their arrivals, and if Vlasic has the same mindset as those two, there’s no reason why he can’t flourish in the same way.
It looks as though West Ham could have another gem on their hands with Vlasic.
