Liverpool supporters on Twitter are reacting to Luis Diaz’s latest performance.

With a transfer to Liverpool apparently imminent, there was a lot of interest in Diaz’s World Cup qualifier last night.

The Porto attacker is on international duty with Colombia and he started the visit of Peru.

However, the Colombians suffered a 1-0 defeat, but who cares about that?

All Liverpool fans wanted to see was who they were buying, amid speculation of a move to Anfield.

According to Fabrizio Romano, personal terms are agreed and the Merseysiders will pay £50 million to sign the 25-year-old South American winger.

Frightening

One thing which stood out about Diaz was his frightening speed.

With Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in attack, Liverpool already have a scary amount of pace going forward.

However, Diaz looks like he’s only going to add to that and what a coup this looks like being for the Reds.

It isn’t only a good deal because Diaz is a brilliant footballer, but because of who Liverpool are beating to the signing.

According to Record, Diaz turned down a move to Tottenham Hotspur in favour of joining Jurgen Klopp’s outfit and that invariably adds an element of excitement, when you beat a rival to a player.
