Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend has said on Stadium Astro that reported Leeds United target and Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore will get better.
Townsend made the comments about Traore following the former Aston Villa winger’s performance in Wolves’ 1-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Monday evening.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United winger has praised Traore, and believes that in the next few years, the 25-year-old will be able to add more goals and assists to his game and will be able to deliver better balls into the box.
According to a report in Eurosport in February, Leeds are keen on signing the former Villa and Barcelona winger in the summer of 2021.
Sport has reported interest from Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester City in the 25-year-old Spain international.
Townsend said about Traore on Stadium Astro: “He is still a young boy, he has come a long way from when he first came into the Premier League with Middlesbrough and I am sure he has got a long way to go, and I am sure by the time he is 28, 29 he will put all those aspects that you spoke about together and you will be a more complete player.”

Encouraging comments
Townsend is 29 now and knows the game inside out, and his comments about Traore are encouraging for Leeds.
Traore needs to work on his finishing and final ball, as the winger has yet to score or provide an assist in the Premier League this season, according to WhoScored.
The Wolves winger has pace, can dribble, and runs at opposition defenders, and at the right price, he would be a good signing for Leeds.
