Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has told the club’s official Twitter page that he is stunned by what Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has said about him.

In his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Leeds head coach Bielsa raved about City boss Guardiola, as quoted in Leeds Live.

The Argentine spoke highly of the way Guardiola’s teams play, and it is clear just how highly he thinks of the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager.

City boss Guardiola was asked to respond to Bielsa’s comments this afternoon, and the Spaniard seems to be flattered.

The game between the two sides earlier this season was very interesting and hugely entertaining, and there is a very good chance that it will be the same this time around.

While City look set to win the Premier League title this season, Leeds could end up in the top 10 in their first year back in the top flight of English football since 2004.
