Jeff Stelling has said that Casemiro may not want to leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The talkSPORT presenter has outlined two reasons why the former Real Madrid defensive midfielder could be at Old Trafford next season.
So, what has Jeff Stelling said about Manchester United midfielder Casemiro? Let’s take a look.
Jeff Stelling gives verdict on Manchester United midfielder Casemiro
Well, talkSPORT pundit Jeff Stelling has been speaking on Manchester United, and one of the players he thinks the Red Devils could struggle to offload is Casemiro.
The former Soccer Saturday presenter has noted that Casemiro is earning a weekly salary of £350,000 (Spotrac) and is 32 now. So, he may not want to leave and not many clubs would be willing to pay a lot of money in transfer fees for him.

The midfielder has scored one goal and given one assist in 13 Premier League appearances for United so far this season.
Stelling said on talkSPORT (7:24 am, February 27, 2024): “But it’s well and good for people saying that Manchester United are going to offload these players. I am Antony. I am getting 200 grand a week at Manchester United. I am not going anywhere. I am Casemiro. I am getting 350 grand a week. I am not going anywhere. By the way, he is 32, so who is going to pay for him anyway now?”
My View: Manchester United should keep Casemiro
In my opinion, Manchester United should not be in a rush to offload Casemiro in the summer transfer window.
While he is 32 now and has not looked like the player he was at Real Madrid, he is still a very good defensive midfielder and has a wealth of experience.
Casemiro could be a useful member of the squad for United next season, especially if they end up in the UEFA Champions League.
The Brazil international defensive midfielder could help Kobbie Mainoo grow and develop as a player. Mainoo is a rising star at United and could learn a lot from Casemiro.
