Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Kostas Tsimikas has been joking about his fitness after being caught in a headlock by Jurgen Klopp at the weekend.
The Greek celebrated like crazy with his gaffer at Molineux on Saturday after Divock Origi’s dramatic late winner, and he may have been caught by surprise when Klopp grabbed him by the neck.
Tsimikas was caught in a WWE-style hold at the weekend, but the full-back has joked about the incident, claiming that he’s fine and fit to play against Milan.
What’s Tsimikas said?
Tsimikas spoke about his celebrations with Klopp.
“We celebrate like crazy when we score in the 95th minute. In this moment, you cannot control your emotions! I am fine. I can play tomorrow! It was a very good goal from Divock and he gave us the happiness that we wanted in the whole game,” Tsimikas said.

Should be starting
Tsimikas says he’s fine to play, and it wouldn’t surprise us one bit if he started this game.
Klopp said in his press conference that he needs to rotate, and one area where he has strength in depth is at left-back.
Tsimikas didn’t start against Wolves, so it would make a lot of sense if he was given the chance to play here.
Fingers crossed that the Greek can produce a moment of magic that leaves Klopp buzzing on the touchline once again, but, perhaps fortunately, if he’s on the pitch the gaffer won’t be able to get hold of him this time.
