Paxten Aaronson has shared how his brother, Brenden Aaronson, still finds it ‘surreal’ playing for Leeds United in the Premier League.
The younger brother, 19, of the Leeds United midfielder shared how he ‘FaceTimes’ Brenden after games and asks him about what the fans are like and what it’s like playing against certain players.
In the summer, Jesse Marsch uses his old contacts well by bringing Brenden, 21, to Elland Road, as the Whites paid RB Salzburg £25 million for his talents (Sky Sports).

This seemed like a transfer in the making because, not only was Brenden’s stock rising at RB Salzburg, but he is a player that would have also suited Marcelo Bielsa.
Therefore, when Marsch replaced Bielsa at Leeds, then it was only logical and to no surprise that he brought his fellow countryman to England.
It has been a bright start to life in Yorkshire for the USA international, including scoring against Chelsea back in August, as Paxten spoke about his brother being a Premier League player, as he told NBC Sports.
“After games, I always try to FaceTime him and just let him know my thoughts,” said Paxten. “It’s always cool just getting to know the atmosphere of how he feels the game went. I am always asking questions like ‘how are the fans?’ and ‘how is playing against this player?’ All of that. I try to FaceTime him every so often just to catch up.
“I feel like he hasn’t wrapped his head around it. He said that sometimes he just looks on the field and says ‘yeah, he’s playing in the Premier League’. It’s kind of surreal to him.”

BRIGHT START FROM BRENDEN
For Leeds, they are searching for that first win since August, but they haven’t been helped by two games being postponed and a few difficult games in between.
Their last home game saw Luis Sinisterra get sent off early in the second half, which then resulted in the team having to claw their way to a hard-fought draw against Aston Villa.
Perhaps Arsenal, who are the current leaders of the Premier League, might just be the perfect team for Leeds to get back to winning ways because they will go in as pure underdogs.
The last time Aaronson was on the scoresheet, Leeds did win, and he did cause a few problems against Crystal Palace last week, so perhaps he is the key to unlocking the door.
